Telecomunication Engineering

This cycle of study prepares the student to perform a role of innovation in the design sector, engineering, manufacturing, exercise and maintenance of modern telecommunication systems,

with a conspicuous approach to research and development. The course offers a multidisciplinary training in the field of Telecommunication Engineering, with advanced courses in the field of electromagnetism, electronics and telecommunications.

The Telecommunication Engineer will get a much more detailed training on algorithms and protocols based on modern telecommunication systems, while there will be a little more in-depth training regarding electronic hardware. For interested students there is a large number of topics to be developed in the private and public enterprise (as in Albania and abroad) through practices that provide the possibility of contacts with the world of work, to work on more actual topics in telecommunication.

CRITERIA
THE FIRST CYCLE STUDY PROGRAMS , WHICH ALLOW ADMISSION TO THIS STUDY PROGRAM OF THE SECOND CYCLE, ARE DEFINED BY THE DECISION OF THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING COUNCIL OF PHEI MTU. PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE PASSED A BACHELOR IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING, ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATICS.

Employment opportunities The student will have a professional profile suitable for many areas of the telecommunications sector, with a trend prominent in professions in which is essential the ability of innovation and creation of new recognitions, as well as technologies related to telecommunications, with working spaces in the following areas:
- Telecommunications, involved in research and development centers, of design and innovation of national telecommunications telephone operators, and television services. Always in this context are also required telecommunications networking specialists.
- Electronics, addressing to enterprises oriented more towards electronics, in particular for the part that deals with the treatment, transmission of signals in the civil, industrial and information field.
- MANAGEMENT IN THE MANAGEMENT SECTOR ENTERPRISES. THE GRADUATED STUDENT IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING CAN GET INVOLVED IN THE TREATMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF NETWORKS AND INFORMATION STRUCTURES.
- INFORMATICS, IN DIFFERENT SECTOR ENTERPRISE COMPUTING.
THE GRADUATED STUDENT IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING CAN GET INVOLVED IN THE TREATMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF NETWORKS AND INFORMATION STRUCTURES IN ALL-ORIENTED ENTERPRISES IN THE FIELD OF MULTIMEDIA, THE HANDLING OF IMAGES, VIDEO AND AUDIO.
