Informatics Engineering

Master of Science in Informatics Engineering has as main objective the formation of engineers capable of operating in the sectors of design,

engineering, development and maintenance of applications and information plants, of information processing systems and complex information systems.The Informatics Engineer can operate as in the context of industrial production,as well as in the field of service enterprises.
The study program will be aimed at deepening the knowledge on:.
- Hardware Infrastructure.
- Data management.
- Methodologies for production and maintenance of software.
- Man-machine multimedia systems etc..

CRITERIA
The first cycle study programs, which allow admission to this study program of the second cycle, are defined by the Council of the Faculty of Engineering of PHEI MTU. Prospective candidates are expected to have passed a Bachelor in Informatics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications.

This study program promotes a technical preparation and very solid basis, in all areas related to information engineering, which enables a quick adaption with varied professional needs, avoiding the risk of obsolescence in the training plan, with workspaces in the following areas:
- Informatics, information industries operating in the field of hardware and software manufacturing, enterprise services, information services of the public administration.
- Automation, electronic enterprises, electro-mechanical, chemical, aeronautical where are developed dimensional functions and implementation of complex architectures, and automated systems.
- Electronics, design enterprise and production of electronic devices and systems, manufacturing industry, public administration sectors and services companies that apply technology and IT infrastructure.
- Management, enterprise manufacturing, services and public administration for the management and organization of the enterprise, for the organization and production of automation systems.
- Telecommunications, enterprise design, production and exercise, infrastructure system that has to do with the obtaining and transporting of information and their use in telematics applications.
