Mechatronics Engineering

The Professional figure of a Mechatronics Engineer is relatively recent, but very much appreciated, because it respond to the needs of the labor market,

which often requires integration ability in the early stages of design, electronics interdisciplinary capability, mechanics, electrical activation, automatic control and informatics. Students in the Mechatronics Engineering Master of Science will receive a type of general formation, which means electronics, mechanics, electrical activation, automatic control and informatics.
The Mechatronics Engineer is also a technician prepared in a broad spectrum, which allows to cooperate with specialists in various fields, sectors of designing, manufacturing, exercise and maintenance of systems and mechatronics equipment, and the management of laboratories and plants.

CRITERIA THE FIRST CYCLE STUDY PROGRAMS, WHICH ALLOW ADMISSION TO THIS STUDY PROGRAM OF THE SECOND CYCLE, ARE DEFINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING OF THE PHEI METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY OF TIRANA. PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE PASSED A BACHELOR IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL, ELECTRONICS AND MECHATRONICS.

There are a lot of and different employment opportunities; including production and service enterprise, public and private, large, medium and small, operating in the sectors of advanced design, planning, programming and management of complex systems, innovation of product and process. In small companies the Mechatronics Engineering is valued for its ability to cope with various and interdisciplinary problems.
Mechatronic engineering is required by enterprises of automation, in which are developed, designed and implemented complex automation systems and devices, and enterprise electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical that design and produce mechanical systems, automotive, aerospace and robotics.
